Nasce tributarista, seguendo facilmente le orme del fratello maggiore Dottor Claudio, che aveva un 45 abbondante di piede. Esercita la professione sin dai tempi dell’asilo calcolando con il pallottoliere la percentuale che l’Iva, una sua compagna di classe, lo potesse baciare. Da grandicello sogna spesso un’auto: la Volvo 740, ma si deve accontentare di una 101.

Ad un certo punto della sua brillante carriera di consulente si accorge che i conti non sono tutto e che la giornata è fatta di sole ventiquatt’ore, così decide di appropriarsi della sua vita e diventa lui stesso dottore.

Legge volentieri romanzi d’avventura e resta colpito da Dr Jeckill e Mr Hide, al punto tale che decide di assumerne le caratteristiche. Stefano Serpilli inizia così a vivere una doppia vita: durante la settimana è un serio e stimato consulente aziendale, ma durante il tempo libero diventa un artista completo, poeta, scrittore, pittore, scultore, cantante, musicista e ballerino di flamenco.

He is a tax expert who followed the path of his older brother Claudio. He has practised this profession since he was a child and calculated with an abacus the possibility of being kissed by IVA, a classmate. (IVA is the Italian acronym of VAT). When he grew up he wished he could buy a Volvo 740, but had to be satisfied with a Volvo 101.

During his career as consultant he realised that accountancy was not the only thing and that the day was made up of 24 hours, this is why he decided to seize his life.

He started reading adventure novels and was so struck by Dr Jeckill and Mr Hide, that he decided to take up their features. Stefano Serpilli thus started living a double life: during the week he works as consultant but during his free time he becomes a real artist, poet, painter, sculptor, singer, musician and flamenco dancer.

Simone Borghi, nato ad Ancona nel 1975, all’età di quindici anni diventa uno dei musicisti rock più attivi della regione Marche. Dopo un decennio di gavetta in giro per l’Italia Simone raggiunge gli Stati Uniti, e precisamente Los Angeles, dove realizza i suoi CD, For many years (2004) e il singolo By the moon (2006) in collaborazione con il musicista e produttore James Raymond (figlio di David Crosby dei Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young), il batterista di fama mondiale Vinnie Colaiuta (che ha inciso anche con Sting, Frank Zappa, Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock e Jeff Beck) e il bassista Tony Levin (collaboratore di personaggi del calibro di Peter Gabriel, John Lennon, King Crimson, Paul Simon, Lou Reed e David Bowie).

Nel 2007 Borghi produce il DVD & BOOK State of grace documentary che racconta le sue esperienze musicali californiane e nel 2008 realizza il CD Online con la collaborazione di Steve Lukather e Simon Phillips dei Toto, i chitarristi Frank Gambale, Dean Parks e Brian Ray (musicista della band di Paul McCartney) e la pianista jazz newyorkese Rachel Z.

Il nuovo disco vede anche la partecipazione di alcuni artisti italiani tra i quali Linda, Giampiero Ingrassia, Roberta Faccani (cantante dei Matia Bazar) e il batterista Roberto Gualdi che collabora con Lucio Dalla, PFM, Enzo Iannacci e Dolcenera.

Simone Borghi, born in Ancona in 1975, at the age of 15 became one of the most active rock musicians in the Marche region. After a decade of paying dues in Italy, Simone reached the US, Los Angeles to be precise, and there recorded his first two CDs, For many years (2004) and By the moon (2006), in collaboration with musician and producer James Raymond (son of David Crosby of CSN&Y), world famous drummer Vinnie Colaiuta (who has recorded with Sting, Frank Zappa, Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock and Jeff Beck), and bassist Tony Levin (collaborator of musicians the likes of Peter Gabriel, John Lennon, King Crimson, Paul Simon, Lou Reed and David Bowie).

In 2007 Borghi produced State of grace documentary DVD & BOOK which tells about his musical history in California and in 2008 he recorded the album Online with the collaboration of Toto members Steve Lukather and Simon Phillips, guitarists Frank Gambale, Dean Parks and Brian Ray (from Paul McCartney’s band) and jazz pianist from New York City, Rachel Z.

Some Italian artists such as Linda, Giampiero Ingrassia, Matia Bazar’s vocalist Roberta Faccani and Roberto Gualdi (drummer for Lucio Dalla, PFM, Enzo Iannacci and Dolcenera) plays on the new CD.
