Ludovica nasce a Roma il 29 Agosto 1993 e si rivela una bambina artisticamente dotata da subito. Gia' all'eta' di cinque anni usava programmi su computer come photoshop e paint per raffigurare i suoi numerosi gatti di casa. Vivendo gia' sin da piccolissima in campagna, ha potuto esprimere la sua arte realizzando quasi sempre soggetti animali. A casa iniziava a confrontarsi con matite, pastelli ed acquerelli e i primi disegni erano realizzati su ogni tipo di supporto (fogli, muri, legno, stoffa, mattonelle). Ci fu poi un periodo in cui vennero rappresentati i fari, ispirazione data per un quadro in regalo ad un'amica di famiglia recentemente scomparsa. La grande evoluzione fu verso i 12 anni con l'introduzione della tela e dell'acrilico (attualmente usati) e con la rappresentazione su muro a grandezza quasi naturale della cavalla avuta in regalo, cui seguirono diversi ritratti sempre di cavalli su muro e su tela, copie d'autore come Kandinsky, e Franz Marc, immagini di cow boy, mustangs al galoppo ma soprattutto i suoi cavalli preferiti, gli American paint horses, ispirazione data dal film Hidalgo. Appassionata anche di musica, ha sempre ascoltato gli artisti che le hanno dato gran parte della sua ispirazione come Michael Jackson e James Taylor. Divenuta fan del primo, cominciò verso i 14 anni a "sperimentare" un nuovo metodo di disegno per i piani facciali umani (non avendone mai disegnati prima d'allora) rappresentando il suo idolo Jackson in varie pose. Nel giro di poco tempo inizia a produrre diversi ritratti dell'artista, cogliendone le varie espressioni, e realizza alcuni disegni in bianco e nero e due quadri su tela di grossa dimensione. La giovane eta' dell'artista e il fatto che sia assolutamente autodidatta e non abbia mai frequentato una scuola d'arte la rende artisticamente pura e totalmente fuori dagli schemi. Le sue principali passioni sono andare a cavallo, dipingere, cantare, ballare e lavorare al computer. Attualmente frequenta il 2° anno di liceo classico a Roma, ma il suo sogno nel cassetto, oltre a quello di poter conoscere il suo idolo musicale Michael Jackson, è di poter andare a studiare, e di conseguenza vivere, nella città che più la rappresenta...la sua amata Los Angeles.

Ludovica was born in Rome, Italy on August 29, 1993, she soon revealed a talent for art. At the tender age of five, she was already using computer programs such as Photoshop and Paint for creating pictures of her family’s many cats. Having been brought up in the countryside, she became adept at expressing herself artistically by drawing animals. At home she would try out different media such as pencils, pastels and watercolor paints on various surfaces (papers, walls, wood, fabrics and tiles). There was then a time she drew lighthouses, inspired by a late friend’s gift of a painting. As she was turning twelve years old, she began painting with acrylics creating almost life-sized murals depicting her horse (a gift); this was followed by other wall and canvas paintings of horses álà Kandinsky and Franz Marc, pictures of cowboys, galloping mustangs, and most of all, her favorite American paint horses inspired by the film Hidalgo. She is also an avid music lover and has attributed much of her inspiration to musicians, such as Michael Jackson and James Taylor. A die-hard music fan, at 14 years old, she started experimenting with drawing human faces depicting her idol Jackson in various poses. She soon had a portfolio of portraits capturing the singer’s different expressions, including drawings in black and white and two large canvases. The fact that this artist is entirely self-taught indicates that she is naturally gifted and very original. Her passions include horse-back riding, painting, singing, dancing and working on the computer. Ludovica is now in her second year at the Classical High School in Rome, but her real dream is to live and study in Los Angeles, CA the city that she fell in love with when she vacationed last year (and a chance meeting with Michael Jackson wouldn’t be so bad either).
